Panther was the most excellent German medium tank during WWII. Its design was greatly influenced by the Soviet T-34 tank. It was protected by inclined armor all over the vehicle and was fitted with a powerful 75mm tank gun. But its running gear still used the typical German torsion bar suspension and interleaved road wheels.
